Professional-looking websites are not more expensive — they are more finished. Nine details, each under thirty minutes, transform perception.

1. One spacing system Consistent padding everywhere (e.g. 24px cards, 80px sections). Random spacing reads as amateur faster than any font choice.

2. Two fonts, three sizes Heading font + body font, sizes Large/Medium/Small. Every extra font is visual noise.

3. Real photography, consistently edited One filter/editing style across ALL images. Mixed stock + phone snaps breaks the spell — shoot one honest session and reuse.

4. The favicon The browser-tab icon. Its absence is the 'unfinished site' tell visible on every open tab.

5. Buttons that match One button style site-wide: same radius, same primary color, same hover. Buttons are the handshake — consistency is the trust.

6. Aligned everything Text blocks, images and buttons on a grid. F12 → inspect → check edges misalignment hunters cannot unsee.

7. Microcopy that sounds human 'Send message' not 'Submit Query'. 'We reply within 30 minutes' not 'For further queries contact us.'

8. Loading states that are intentional Lazy-loaded images with background placeholders — pages that load gracefully, not in janky jumps.

9. The footer that finishes Complete footer: links, contact, timings, copyright year current. The footer is the last thing read — end professional.

None of this needs a designer's eye — it needs a checklist's discipline. A Launch trial plus this list takes a template to 'who built your site?' in one evening.
